VIKING SORCERER’S RING, 11TH CENTURY, SIZE 9 1/2

Rare example dating to the period of conversion to Christianity of the Vikings. Gilt bronze, size 9 ½, 5.5mm width with flat face, originally with mystical symbols, now removed with remnants only. The surface is textured from burial with a few small tool marks remaining from obliterated spiritual symbols. The thinness of the ring as well, verifying the resurfacing. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
