Raised borders enclosing a saw tooth motif. Above, a circle enclosing a low conical cross. That Christian motif was widely used by Vikings before their conversion in the late 11th century. Undoubtedly of astrological significance, now lost. Viking worship involved the heavenly bodies on which they relied for guidance when sailing. Fine quality.
