ROMAN LEAD SPINDLE WHORL, 1ST-3RD CENTURY AD - Fagan Arms

Just under ¾” diameter formed as addorsed cones with a central hole for the wood spindle. Both faces are decorated with an open lattice pattern. Mounted with a wool rod and spun while the thread is drawn out with the other hand. Excellent preservation.
