Early Dynastic Period. Over 1 3/8” height (1.40”) of granite, skillfully chipped to the profile of a standing figure, Pharoah or God, on a base. Both sides polished smooth and the entire perimeter roughed out only. At this stage, representing many hours of labor with many more required to produce a hard stone figure. If complete, it would be a museum treasure valued in the thousands.
