LARGE VIKING BRACELET, 10TH-11TH CENTURY AD

Gilt bronze, just over 2 5/8” inside dimension. Rounded section, C form.  The ends of serpentine form and probably modeled as a stylized representation of a snake, now obscured by surface degradation from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity. A substantial bracelet of classic Viking workmanship made 1000 years ago and perfectly suited for modern wear.
