Forged bronze of square section twisted through most its length.  The joint formed by overlapping the ends and securing with two spiral twists. That technique was used by the Celts for rings and bracelets as well as neck torques. Quite crisp with minimal degradation and a quarter-inch of the overlap lacking. 2 1/8” inside dimension. It is generally thought that these were wrapped around and secured on a woman’s wrist and not taken off. Rare.
