Late 9th-early 11th century AD. Rare wearable size 7 1/2. Broad flat face, 4.3mm width, hand-decorated in a centered stipple band. The edges lightly and finely stipple decorated as well. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
