Broad band, 4.9mm width, with raised edges and deep relief decoration overall of cabalistic ciphers on reeded ground (mystical meaning now lost). Worn by sorcerers who practiced pagan religion before the spread of Christianity and into the early Christian period. Excellent preservation and professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored for modern wear, with certification of authenticity, and jewelry gift boxed.
