Brass hilt with crossed saber langet and remnants of gold surface inside the guard. Lionhead pommel with inset red glass eyes. Wire-wrapped leather-covered grip. The top of the grip is modeled to form the lion’s lower jaw. 31 ¾” broad fullered blade with 95% plating intact. The ricasso marked DEUTSCH.OFFIZ.VERELY BERLIN. Iron scabbard with smooth gray patina and remnants of plating.
