Kurd, Ottoman period. Iconic form with fine 9 1/4” medially ridged curved d.e. blade. One piece black horn hilt with cylindrical grip and expanded terminals serving as pommel and guard. Black ass skin covered scabbard well tooled both sides. Original black horn scabbard tip which very rarely survives owing to adhesive failure. Crisp and excellent throughout with some minor spider rust tracks to the blade.
