JAPANESE ARITA WARE COVERED BOWLS

19th-20th century. Non pair of two bowls with covers, identical but for size. One 4.55” diameter and the other 4.31”. Less than 5% difference but requiring individual tooling and processing. Both white porcelain with blue banded spread foot and grip. Identically decorated with flowing brocade on prunus branches and buds, in high relief overglaze. Excellent quality and fine condition.  Two bowls.
