Natural cow horn, the base shaped to oval and inset with a wood bottom secured with brass pins. Thickened spout and small stopper which nests in the horn measure attached with a cord. Used to carry, measure and dispense the fine grained powder used in the ignition pans of flintlock guns. Some wear throughout with fine age character.
