From the series "The Military Adventures of Johnny Newcome". This is “Introduced to his Colonel”.   7 ¾” x 5”, matted and ready for framing. From a Dearborn Michigan Napoleonic collection. Our research found only one original example as is this one. That other is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art [#59.533.1623(6)]. Additionally, while there are stock images from the series, we found no originals from the series available for sale. Excellent for the period and obviously rare.
