EXTREMELY RARE VIKING SLAVE SHACKLE, 10TH CENTURY AD - Fagan Arms
6 1/4" Forged iron in six pieces. One end with a rectangular shackle that engaged a matching crossbar. The other end with a ring that engaged to another end of the crossbar and was connected to the master chain to which all the captives were shackled. The ends are joined by four forged figure-eight links.  See the Mastermyr Find, pl.16 for a similar shackle and chain.
