SPANISH SILVER HILTED CAVALRY OFFICER’S SWORD, 1851 PATTERN

Standard pattern. See Vicente Toledo Momparler page 170.  Intricately modeled cruciform silver hilt. Silver wire wrapped ebony grip. 31 ¼” flattened diamond section blade with long rectangular forte. Minor staining toward the point. Silver mounted scabbard with the arms of Savoy to the frog button. The leather fatigued and slightly shrunk but complete.
