Iron hilt with asymmetrical shell guards, each engraved in three panels of stylized flowers. Pommel and guard with matching decoration. Fine wire wrapped grip. 30” straight blade of slightly concave-faced diamond section. The forte with decorative brass inlaid panel flanked by reeded facets, each side. Red cloth blade seat. Crisp and excellent for the period. A civilian sword was carried in the streets by a noble owner, trained in fencing.
