SUPERIOR QUALITY SUDANESE ARM DAGGER

Sudanese War of 1885. 5 5/8” tapered blade, a little wider than usual and decorated with three lined panels. Fine woven leather covered grip with iron skull crusher pommel. Leather scabbard with triple ridged throat with loop mount, the bottom slightly scuffed, but noticeably padded, probably containing Koranic script. Iconic example with exceptional patina in fine preservation.
