1875 lithograph by G Gabrielli of Tomas Sutton founder of the London Chaterhous, an alms house for impoverished gentlemen and the Charterhouse School. Sutton was a businessman and government official, reputed to be the wealthiest commoner in England. Another example of this print is in the Wellcome Museum, London, #V0005666. Finely engraved and professionally matted to 9 1/4” x 12” for an off the shelf frame from Michael’s, Walmart etc. Genuine 150 year old original.
