FINE LARGE EASTERN EUROPEAN CROSS, 17TH CENTURY

Gilt bronze, just over 1 5/8” (1.64”) total height. Raised edge beams with radials at the junction. Central relief vacant cross with the charges and footrest delineated. Reverse plain as with the earliest examples.  Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored and on an 18” modern gilt Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with Certificate of Authenticity.
