ANCIENT VIKING WEDDING RING, SIZE 10

Late 9th-early 11th century AD. Rare wearable size, slightly under 10 1/4. Broad flat face, 6.0mm width, hand-decorated in a centered stipple band. Bronze or copper with fine green/brown patina as found. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Very rarely found in this excellent untouched as found condition. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
