War of 1812 period. 32 1/2” curved broad fullered blade shows smooth dark patina with a little scattered pitting mixed in.

Of all steel construction with 29 5/8” 66 cal barrel with under rib pierced for sling swivels and supporting three ram rod tubes with original steel ram rod. The right side with very large spring lock bayonet mount now fitted with a 1855 pattern bayonet.
