Iron hilt of distinctive Udaipur form with large wheel pommel and straight cross guard. Hilt etched throughout with a matrix of scrolls. Both the etched technique and the pattern are very rare. 32 3/4” curved s.e. blade of heavy section and fine fighting form, smooth and bright with slight lamination traces and minor finger rust toward the point.
