Decorated throughout with foliage and mythological figures. 36” double edged blade medially grooved and decorated first third with foliage and arms splay. Swords of this form were made for nobility in Italy during the second half of the 16th century. This example has a particularly well-proportioned blade and was produced in the 20th century.
