ancient greek pottery
Items
#207-213 were purchased from Christie’s,
London,
in the 1980’s for our own collection and are unconditionally guaranteed
authentic. These seven examples are the
last of the collection. Whereas the
majority of such examples which come to market are reconstituted from fragments
and restored, each of these is undamaged and un restored.

spout. Decorated in bands of white and
brown motifs in oak leaves, acorns, chevrons, Greek key, egg and dart scrolls,
etc. Height 6 7/8". Fine condition with virtually 100 strong
decoration to the body and a little flaking to the neck decoration. Handle and spout with minor wear to the high
