12 1/4" well forged blade with distinct medial, slightly recurved beveled edges and flattened diamond section forte. Flared grip with brass tape wrapped medial flanked by iron wrapped segments-the iron with surface rusting, brass excellent with good patina. Blade shows dark patina, mottled old oxidation and one small spot raised oxidation along the edge, eroding the delicate edge about 1/16" deep (basically amounting to an edge nick). Very finely wrapped grip.
