Silver hilt with faceted baluster form segments flanking a fine checkered ivory grip. Oval guard with hand engraved toothed fall. 4 1/2 diamond section blade. Silver scabbard with oval frog stud. Lower projection of the stud lacking. Scabbard shows few old shallow dents and some very old scratched initials, now nearly completely obscured by fine aged patina. Hilt excellent with the ivory bright, showing a single faint age check. Blade excellent with some laminar patterning showing one side. Just about identical to Peterson #93, varying with slightly different pattern of the toothed drop around the guard and slightly thicker grip.
